This Week @ GSU is a fun, brief campus news program here at Governors State University. Our goal is to help students become informed, stay connected, and be alerted to news and upcoming events happening around campus. ​

​       This Week @ GSU,​ or TWAG as we like to call it, aims to create a well informed and social university atmosphere.  We want our classmates, colleagues, professors, and the Governors State University community as a whole to know what is going on around campus and how they can become more involved.

       TWAG is a completely student produced news show that updates students on all campus related news and events. In addition to campus news, the show has a weekly segment called "The GSU Spotlight" which recognizes the extraordinary achievements of exceptional students, staff and faculty members. The GSU Spotlight also highlights student organizations, and campus facilities.

        Each week the TWAG Production Team, made up of entirely of GSU students from varying majors, collects campus news from various university sources and choose what stories are most relevant to the GSU Community.

       Episodes are then taped in one of GSU's Department of Digital Media, Marketing, and Communications' professional production studios where students are given full control during production of the show (these daily episodes are pre-taped the week before they air).
